​Women's Runs

Ottawa Frontrunners invites women of all abilities to join us for a run or walk each first Saturday of the month, at 9 am at the Lisgar Street entrance to City Hall, 111 Lisgar at the intersection of Cartier.

​Runs in Gatineau / Hull

Our Saturday morning runs on 13 June, 11 July, 8 August, 12 September, and 10 October will start on the Gatineau side at 9:30 am. Two cars will meet at City Hall at 9:00 am and leave promptly at 9:10 am. The starting and finishing points will be at the parking lot that faces Lac Lemay and is near the restaurant “Le Saint-Éloi, café bistro'' (100, chemin du Lac Leamy).

​Sunday Noon Run Pilot (26 September; 3, 10, and 17 October)

André will be leading a noon run for four consecutive Sundays starting on 26 September, until 17 October. Runs will follow the 5 and 7 km loop along the Ottawa River at the base of Parliament Hill into the Hull sector of Gatineau. Runners will meet for breakfast at Dantessa after the runs.

​Speed workouts

In preparation for the fall races, Andy will vbe leading speed workouts at the Immaculata High School track every Thursday at 6:30 pm this summer.

​Marathon Oasis de Montréal

Date: Sunday, September 13 2010
Time: 5K 08:40, 10K 08:45, Half marathon 08:40, Marathon 09:00
Location: Pie-IX and Rachel streets / Jacques-Cartier Bridge, Montreal
Cost: $35 / $45 / $65 / $80 (prices go up after August 29)

Several people are targeting Montreal for their late summer race. The idea of finishing in the Olympic Stadium sounds very exciting!

​Army half-marathon and 5 km teams (19 September)

It is not too late to join one of three teams (half-marathon (men), half-marathon (mixed), 5 km (mixed))! If you are interested in joining a team and have not yet contact us, send an e-mail to José (jose-yow@rogers.com) and Jean-Claude (jcblais@hotmail.com). We shall be finalizing the team make up by 8 September.

​Ottawa Frontrunners Open House (18 September)

Invite your friends to our Open House on Saturday, 18 September, at 9 am.

​Executive monthly meetings

Please note that the Executive meets monthly to discuss club business. The September meeting will be held on Saturday, 25 September, after the breakfast. These meetings are open to all members. If you would like to attend, please send a message to ofr@ottawafrontrunners.org, and we will be sure to send you specifics regarding the meeting date, time, and location.
