Portage and Alexandra bridges Route (7.2 km / 4.5 miles)
This route takes us past Parliament, the Supreme Court, and the Museum of History.
Two bridges: 5 km
Run north from City Hall along the canal to the Ottawa Locks, then turn left to run along the Ottawa River Pathway below Parliament Hill to the Portage Bridge. Turn around and retrace your path back to City Hall.
Two bridges: 7.2 km
Follow the 5 km route above and cross the river on the Portage Bridge into Quebec. Turn right and run along the Voyagers Pathway, up by the Museum of Civilization, and get onto the Alexandra Bridge. Cross back into Ontario, past Majors Hill Park, and rejoin the canal at the National Arts Centre and finish at City Hall.
Two bridges: 9.78 km
Follow the 7 km route above and continue to the Pretoria Bridge. Turn around and finish at City Hall.
